Hey forum peeps. Probably a long shot but I’d love to go to some concerts at the Bank of NH Pavilion this summer by boat.
Despite having bought two boats from Silver Sands they can’t provide a temporary slip to customers so I’m reaching out to the forum. Maybe someone at Mountain View Yacht Club is in a situation where they would be willing to rent their slip just for concert parking (not even over night)? I do not believe that is allowed.
I have a slip there that I rent out by the season and the tenant has to provide an insurance certificate every year. I don't have the documents with me, and someone else may be able to answer better, but I am almost positive single night rentals are not allowed. And, since there is a waiting list for slips one would assume that all of the slips are full. Having an available slip for a night would mean that someone would have to take their boat out of the water or find another slip for their boat. Doubtful. |

Normally I dock at the Glendale docks and walk to the venue. Last I knew the officer leaves at 7. Despite the 3 hr rule, I never got a ticket. I do know and officer will stop be after midnight to make sure no one is staying overnight.
I did stay over one night due to heavy fog. I do not have GPS. The officer was kind enough to wake me up and tell me to move on. I explain the dangerous situation of having to travel across the Broads in heavy fog. He says the ordinances is cut and dry that he has to fine me to dock overnight. I gladly paid the fine and avoid dangerous passage. He didn't bother me the rest of the night. Whatever happen to the maritime 'safe harbor' law. Where everyone is allow a safe spot to dock during bad weather along the seas and Great Lakes? I know they honor this on Lake Champlain as well?

They have hired officers for the Glendale lot and docks for this season during concert dates.

MVYC absolutely does not allow "visitors" slipping at any of their docks.
I tried once to get overnight guests a spot and was politely denied
