Ode to Winter

I have permission from the original author (Airedale 1) to reprint this Ode.

It is winter in New Hampshire
And gentle breezes blow
Fifty miles an hour
At seventeen below

O, how I love New Hampshire
When the snow is up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut

Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I will hang around
I could never leave New Hampshire
'Cause I am frozen to the ground

Where my car is
I do not know

It can't be seen
for all the snow

If I walk
then I will slide
So I must just
stay inside

Our fireplace is on
it's last log
I hope we don't need
to eat the dog!

Didn't see anyone around
Turned into an icicle
Before it hit the ground
