Default Jet Ski Lift

Wondering if anyone has a waterfront spot they would like to rent out for a placement of a Jet Ski lift. Preferably on the western side of Paugus Bay.

If your situation is that you own a lift and you are looking for a waterfront owner to allow you to put it at their waterfront and you pay them a rental fee, that is probably not going to happen. Jet ski lifts require a permit from DES, which has to be obtained by the waterfront property owner. You can't just drop in a lift anywhere

Don't tell anyone this, but I heard that people sometimes put jet ski lifts in without a permit.

The rent one will gain is much greater than the fine.

The owner could get the permit, who's to say the renter wouldn't pay for the permit, or part of the rent could apply towards it? Could be win-win!

I'd love to find a similar spot in Smith Cove for a ski lift. I'm there every week anyway.
