Fire?

was there a fire on the lake about 345 sat?
i was about to go down the weirs when i was told to move out of the way that Chanel was temporarily closed, there was an emergence boat on it's way.

about 5 mins pasted the laconia fire boat(parked next to irwin) , comes full speed down the Chanel.

About a mile north of the weirs. Two children about 500ft out, were believed to be in distress. Both made shore safely, however LFD was sent, as well as MP.
