I was watching NESN today and saw an episode from "The MAD Fisherman"". He was trying 3 different lures on Lake Waukewan. He was catching smallies, larrys (large mouth), and even a pickerel. I guess we have alot to be thankful for whomever started stocking and promoting the Lakes Region for fishing. HUUU YAHH.

Was it the edition in which he's fishing from the canoe, and the leaves are starting to turn? Very productive lake!

No, he was fishing from a powerboat and it looked like it was spring. He mentioned it was COLD 46 degrees.

46? Heck, that's prime diving temp -- even with a wet suit. Our local lake in PA was close to that on New Year's Eve for the annual end-o-year dive. In the summer, that's more like the bottom temp @ 100+ feet.
Can't wait to see the salmon and trout underwater this spring (not that I'm hurrying winter along or anything...wouldn't want to spoil the delayed fun of the snowmobilers out there...)
