I'm thinking about trying the Mount Washington 4th of July dinner/dance cruise. I've not been on the Mount yet and just looking for something new to try for the 4th. What do you think? Thanks.

Fine idea indeed - but get the tickets ordered soon, it's usually pretty popular.

The Mount is always a fun time. The more folks you bring with you the more fun it is. You do not need to wait till the 4th to enjoy the fireworks as every Friday evening the Mount goes out and on the way back it stops and parks just outside Pitchwood Island/Eagle Island and allows the guests to watch the Weirs fireworks display.

One problem with that the 1st Weirs Fireworks show is not until July 3rd at 12am according to Weirs Beach.com and weirsonline.com. Then there are fireworks every Friday after than until August 17th at 10pm on the beach. I hope this clarifies as I dont want people to go looking for fireworks the last 2 Fridays of June and not seeing anything and wasting time.
