Default July 4th Wolfeboro Events...

I can't find any information about July 4th events in Wolfeboro. Are the fireworks Tues or Wed. night? Even Wolfeboroonline.com has an empty events schedule for the 4th!? I appreciate any info.

Default Fireworks are July 4th

I think wolfeboroonline is not very up to date. I go to wolfeboro.net for information, and downloaded the parks and rec brochure to find out fireworks schedule. I'm not sure what time their parade is tho. Wolfeboro.net also have an active forum if you want to keep up with what's up in town.

Default July 4th Wolfeboro Events

Both "beagle" and "WakeUp" are correct about Wolfeboro not being very well advertised with respect to July 4th Events. The Wolfeboro Chamber of Commerce has a hand out listing the Events as follows:

Fourth of July Parade 10 AM call 569-2200
Cate Park Band Concert 7-9 PM 569-2200
@ Cate Park Community Bandstand
Fireworks Over Wolfeboro Bay 569-2200

I have found the the "Laker" newspaper usually has pretty good information. It is available around town in Wolfeboro.

Of course, all the retail stores will be open, all the restaurants, and all the street vendors, so there will be plenty to take advantage of on the holiday.

Don't forget, no July 4th would be complete without a stop at "HOT DOG BOB" on the docks in Wolfeboro (by the launch ramp). He's the best.

Be safe, and enjoy the holiday. (To enjoy the 6th, don't drink a 5th on the 4th.)
