Pre-Forumfest Fest

Hi everyone! Over on the restaurant forum, under the Waldo Peppers Moving thread, Hermit Cover posted (and I'm paraphrasing here) it's (maybe) too early to think about a Summer Kickoff and wondering about a location for same (I'm assuming because the new WP may not be ready in time) -- please see his post #24 on that thread. I suggested Lyon's Den; any other suggestions for a location? How about a timeframe? When are most people going to be at the Lake to begin their season?

I just thought it would be good to start kicking around some ideas.

Love Lyon's Den and Lauren....great food and great people!

I think my suggestion of a FF Summer Kickoff was a veiled hint that Waldo Pepper's, with their new location about to alter the restaurant scene......with their anticipated 100 seats......would be a super place for a "Summer Kickoff" and a Waldo Peppers kickoff...

Just a suggestion....

I second that suggestion if indeed they are open in time, what a way to start off the season!

..............gotcha, lol. I had thought it would be a great place also, and what a kickoff for them as well as us! Just wasn't sure when they would be ready to open. So, WP as 1st choice and Lyon's Den 2nd. Works for me!
