There are 3 public docks on Meredith Neck. Two are at Shep Brown's with a pubic launch ramp free to Meredith Residents. The public trailer parking is up the hill on the south side of the road. Don't park a trailer in the paved public lot.
The is a public dock and parking at Cattle Landing but no launch ramp. |

Yeah. The far end of that parking lot at the hardware store is designated trailer parking. If that's full, there's another lot a little further up for trailers.
My guess is that the hardware store owners offer that in hopes of getting "walk-in" traffic. It makes sense. Also, if you stay in the water for more than one day, you can get a permit from the Meredith Police so you can leave your trailer. I'm not sure how they'll let you stay. But I've done that a couple weekends here and there with no trouble. |
