I am going to rent a house in Paugus Bay.
Anyone use Lakeport landing boat launch? Are there public docks available to launch & tie up for a few minutes while a park the vehicle? Easy to get in and out? What about Christmas Island? Same questions: easy in/out? Public docks? Any other tips or info? |

I don't need parking, just a dock to tie up to so I can drop off my trailer at the house I am renting. Does xmas island have a public dock?
Thanx for your help |

We rent a cottage on Paugus every year, and use Christmas Island to launch the boat. My wife usually takes the boat over after we put in, while I drive the trailer over, but they do seem to have plenty dock space.
I'd check with them to see if you could leave the boat while you dropped the trailer off. |

I have used Lakeport Landing a number of times in the past. They will allow you to use the ramp for a launch fee...I thought that it was something like $20. The ramp is properly pitched and there is parking in the area for your vehicle and trailer.
The launch at Christmas Island is sand (I believe) so getting stuck might be of concern. Jetskier ![]() |

Why would you tell him to put in at Alton?!
![]() Thats like suggesting they get their Dunkin Donuts fix over at the shop in Wolfeboro - when they are renting a house in Center Harbor! ![]() |

There are actually 2 different launches at X-mas.At least there used to be.One on the main side of Paugus and one in Langley Cove.Have not used either one in a few years but Last time I launched in Langley my PWC got clogged up with millfoil. They have since treated Langley but I don't know what condition it is in now.FWIW
