Hi,
Does anyone know someone or a company that can build me a 2' wide x 20' long dock finger? Need the whole set up post clamps etc.. Would prefer aluminum sides and with wood decking. Thanks |

Belknap County is overflowing with competent, hard working carpenters right now who are unemployed. Just go on down to that Laconia state job-works office on Union Ave near Irwin Ford-Toyota and you can chit-chit prospective dock builders.

Watermark sells aluminum "gangplanks" that you could use, It is alumimum framed with a plastic flo-thru decking. I have one to go from land out to my jet ski lifts. You can mount it on posts/poles if desired. They will make the size to order. Mine was about $1k I think for a 15' with the mounts/brackets for to go on my lifts.

I used lakes region marine construction in center harbor last year to do something very similar. I really liked their work and guess my neighbor liked it as well - they have got them doing the same thing this year! Hope that helps.

I'm so glad that this thread is NOT about someone flipping the "finger" from their "dock" over some real, or imagined, breach of lake or boating etiquette.
