Former Red Sox second baseman and current Red Sox TV announcer Jerry Remy has purchased a home at Weirs Beach in the Meredith Bay development. Welcome to the lake Rem-Dawg

I heard that at the Showcase House last week. probably won't see much of him as he's a bit reclusive.

Jerry, you are very welcome here in the Lakes Region! We will give you the amount of privacy that you want. If you want to mix it up on the forum, all the better. I hope you find the peace and tranquility that Winnipesaukee offers and has given to many of us for many years. We missed you early in the season, glad you are back. Be strong, if you want to be. Do whatever you feel is right for you. All my best if you read this.

While the name of the gated developement is 'Meredith Bay,' when Rem-Dawg goes to get a local dump, transfer station sticker for his car, it will say Laconia Transfer Station.
'Meredith Bay' is in Laconia, and Laconia Harley Davidson is in Meredith.....and New Hampshire has a 'NH Advantage'......it's all about marketing and advertising. For most all of the homes up on the Meredith Bay gated community overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee, one cannot actually see Lake Winnipesaukee.
