Default Sunset picture tonight

I sat and waited to see if the sunset was going to explode tonight. The signs were there. Blue sky, dry, clouds..... but not so good. It got so late I had to take a shot before it got too dark. I guess there was a cloud way out on the horizon that blocked the rays from lighting up the clouds from underneath? Hey I tried.....

Post Sunset Picture

Wow, wonderful picture! So well framed and balanced vertically. It takes the viewer out from the dock to the horizon with the added feature of mixed cloud formations.

Hey Sunset Bob, You got some real competition here.

Thanks. The reason I put it up, is just to show, you can never predict Mother nature. At least that is what I was thinking while I was sitting in my car waiting for a truly awesome sky fire to appear. I also stopped hoping to catch that peachy pink color from the other night I saw. It was weird that even after the sun was down the sky remained a pinkish color over the Ossipee range. I kicked myself for not having a camera with me.

Default Fleeting moments.

It's so hard to catch those fleeting moments. We only have minutes to capture them. Timing is everything! Sometimes we're caught just holding our camera, waiting for that special opportunity. You were in the right spot at the right time, too bad "Mother Nature" didn't cooperate. Thanks for sharing that nice photo.

...that's not so good......it's a picture of a cloudy sunset.......big deal.......what it needs to warm it up is a human touch.....like a sister from the Laconia Bikini Team holding strong in the warrior pose.....

That's pretty. Winter can be pretty when it's not snowing.

Default Inspirational

After printing this picture with the intent of framing it, I think this picture is poster quality. The caption imo should be, PERSEVERE. I don't know why, its just the title that hits me. Looking out on the lonely dock and ice all around, I feel a strength, coming from the sunset to energize me, before it sets. Can't get this picture out of my mind. Thank you again.
