Default "Wolf" full moon tonight

Claimed to be the biggest & brightest full moon of 2010 and the first full moon for this year, tonight's full moon, known as the WOLF MOON, should be clearly visible from many points around the lakes region as skies are predicted to be clear. For Winni Derby ice fishermen & fisherwomen ensconced in their bob house out on the lake night, it looks like it will be a good night to stay up late and howl at the moon.......aaaarrrrrroooooo....with the help of an adult beverage or two.......!

...oops..probably should have posted this under the ice fishing thread instead of starting a new thread....ice fishing out on a frigid full moon night....does it get any better....aaarrrooooooooo?

Only if you had one of these T-shirts....

You have to read the reviews of the shirt in this link. Pretty funny. Some are a bit colorful though so beware.

Made in NH though!

Man was I ticked this morning....

The one day I don't have my camera and the best shot was missed. I came in to work today and passed by the 19 Mile Bay docks. Over on the west side was this big, moon just over the top of the horizon. A Moon set of gigantic proportions. I doubt it will happen like that on Monday. But you can bet I will be there early to get a pic if it does.....

It was gorgeous even down here in light-polluted NJ!

Default What a Sight!

This photo was taken at 7:25 PM tonight, January 31, 2010. The full moon reflecting off the surface of the frozen lake was very pretty.
