We took the sleds out for the first time this year. On Friday we were on Alton Bay and on Saturday on Meredith Bay. The sledding in Meredith was much better than in Alton.
It got a little scary around Eagle Island, because I did not know the depth on the ice there. In Meredith, ice fishermen reported about 15 inches of ice. We mostly went up and down the bay many times just enjoying being out there. I am unfamiliar with trails in the ares so we will wait to go there with friends who know better. I see that someone did go past my place on Rattlesnake.. see Snake Eyes for the sled marks! We headed advice and did not go there yesterday. Happy Sledding IG ![]()
