Default Emergency Vehicles Mount Cam

Anyone know what's going on in Center Harbor? If you check out the Mount Can you can see the Fire Dept there. Hope nobody is hurt, staying on your feet today must be a chore on the lake

I heard on the scanner a little while ago that there were 2 people in the water but didn't catch where. Later heard the fire dept requesting the boat be launched from Brewster Beach. That wasn't anywhere near Center Harbor last time I checked. You can't see anything going on from the Wolfeboro cams.

Brewster Beach is in Wolfeboro. I just saw the Air Boat head out towards Kenniston island. Not sure what's going on.

A four wheeler with two people on it went through the ice and were rescued by the wfd, from what I was told they broke into a camp to escape the wind after they broke through.
Also near long island a truck trying to cross a pressure ridge broke through, front end only.
Let the circus begin!

Default Friends in need...

A few years ago four guys were on ATVs in the Diamond island area when the front one broke through, sunk and left the rider in the cold drink.

The ice was thin but dispite his saying to his friends to keep away they formed a human chain and got him out. They took off various pieces of clothing to replace his wet ones. While one stayed with his friend the other two took their machines and stole a bob house and dragged it to the scene. It had a coleman heater!

As one used a cell phone to call EMS the others plopped their friend in the bob house and dragged it to the docks in Gilford where the ambulance was waiting.

He stepped out warm and dry and happy for good friends.

Gee...it's great to be a GUY!
