Default Do my eyes deceive me?

Just notice on the rattlesnake cam that the broads are iced over and a large pressure ridge exists. Check it out!

Last evening, I toggled over to IG's web cams page and noticed a rather powerful storm blowing in from the NNW -- dark, menacing skies and whitecaps on the broads. A few of the other cams showed it as well. Shortly thereafter, the cams stopped transmitting, so it must've been quite a blow. Haven't spoken with my dad in a few days to get his take, but it looked like they might've gotten a taste in Tuftonboro as well.

Just think of all the things we get to "experience" via the wonders of web cams. Then think back just a few years ago when there weren't *any*... I like to keep a 'Motion' Weirscam window open during the day so I can watch the water and clouds.

Default Yikes....

Hey, I know the weather in New England is fickle, but just now it went from sunny and 75 to who knows what with snow on the Broads.....Imagine my surprise.

Kind of nice, though, as it's hot and steamy here in Florida.

Talk about a short summer...
