Hummingbirds playing
I think a few Hummingbirds may have left. However, many are still around but they seem to drink somewhat less. Possibly due to the fact that when they come to drink a dive bomber drives them away and the chasing begins. When they do drink, they spend a lot of time looking for interlopers. The other day one came up to the kitchen window so as to say goodbye. Today there were 2 males and 4 females. Each as their own markings.

Hummingbirds
I adore watching our hummingbirds! You paint a good scene. It’s absolutely crazy to me that they can’t share the feeder. There are so many spots, but none of them allow another to use it. Years ago, because we had over twelve birds, I put out four feeders. That made absolutely no difference. They were dive bombing each other constantly. To the point that we were afraid that we’d be hit.
