Default Development of top of Long Stack on Winni

Sort of surprised 20 new development long Winni view lots on top of Long Stack hasn’t generated opposition. Do they really have building permits? Should they?

At top of Alpine Meadows Rd. Right above Knights Pond. I think half Wolfeboro half Alton. Developer is chair of Alton planning board. Possible conflict.

Thanks. Usually, a board member would announce a conflict and vacate his seat for any discussion/vote on the issue and/or related matters. Conflict resolved.

Usually a board member would announce a conflict. But we are talking about Alton here, so they have their own way of doing things. And it’s not the proper or ethical way.

Not sure but I think development mostly in Wolfeboro. Access certainly is. Windswept mountaintop. A lot of ledge. Weird place to build a house. Visible from most if lake tho. Both ways.

People should contact Bill Scott Wolfeboro planning. He has office hours. Most towns have ridge line development guidelines. Not sure Wolfeboro has … but I heard they are under consideration. Might be too late. Probably the most prominent ridgeline in Wolfeboro.
