Looking for something fun to do with two teenage boys who have done all the local "attractions" Anyone know of anything perhaps off the beaten path that we haven't discovered yet? Gonna be a hot weekend so we want to skip the hiking options...thanks!

Lost River and Polar Caves are pretty cool things to do. Also hanging out up the Kangamangus Highway and stopping along the streams and jumping in is fun.

How long are you ate the lake? If it's all summer maybe look toward the Weirs for employment and diversion? Otherwise, throw them off the deep end!

Find a couple of teenage girls and you won't hear another peep out of them.

we are up there on and off all summer - as much as they'd like the girl idea - I think I will pursue some of the other options - including that deep end if need be.............

You could play Texas Hold 'Em.
Many kids seem to love the game, due to its internet and TV exposure. |

Gatto's idea would definatly work......my sugestion though is this threaten them with the "deep end" and put them to work doing projects around the camp.
They may not like you for it but it will keep them busy and out of trouble...plus they will learn to respect thier suroundings more.......... As my father, who worked me hard said many times "Between 15 and 25 I am the meanest most unfair SOB there is, But at about 26 you will understand the lessons I am teaching you" What really ticked me off was that he was right.....yes I got to play back then and I play now, and I have lots of fun, but I also understand hard work and how it relates, to life and having fun..........in short my point is this.....anything can be fun including work......

Mountain biking @ Gunstock is a blast.
Also -- fishing is a time-tested diversion. Pretty cheap, too. And nothing wrong with hiking in the heat -- these kids look pretty happy!

Well - we ended up with a very competitive mini golf game, swimming at Newfound, and yes, work around the camp. Would love some suggestions for easy to moderate hiking in area for next weekend - thanks!

The Whales Tail water park is a blast and they have a new slide that supposed to be a kick, going in a couple weeks. To keep them busy on a rainy day have them google "whales tail" like I did!

Bring them over Gatto Neros house and have them shoot plastic BB's at each other
