Pizza Barn on Rte. 16
Have you ever tried them? What did you think? Saw them on the Phantom Gourmet and the show praised the place. I really need to get there.

I have been there twice. The pizza there is the best I have had in the area. Some people complain that they put too much toppings on, but It is nice that they do load up on toppings IMHO. The pepperoni is the best. They use thick cut spicy pepperoni like you used to get in great pizzerias, not that thin sliced deli pepperoni that everyone uses today. The only complaint I would have might be that they need to tone down the lighting in the Barn as it tends to be very glaring. All in all, a great place with great pizza !!!!

Great Place to take the kids! Be aware that if you decide to go there on a rainy day everyone else usually has the same idea.

hamburg pizza is awful(bunch of browned hamburg tossed in the middle) but cheese and 'roni are decent. We usually go a couple of times a summer and by sled once in the winter.

We go there a number of times a year. Usually wind up with a small Farmers Daughter. This is loaded with about everything and enough for 2 to split even if you're super hungry. I would recommend the place.

My wife and I stopped there for lunch on Saturday (Aug 2) on our way to North Conway. Had a great pepperoni pizza. This ain't no wimpy pizza with a few pepperoni tossed on, I think they use shovels. Don't even think of ordering extra cheese, it is loaded. Each person gets a paper plate, knife and fork. First time I ever needed a knife and fork to eat a pizza. We had the mid size, 12 inch, 6 slices, and ended up bringing 2 slices with us in the camper fridge. Made a good lunch Sunday. Salads looked huge and one order of fries looked like it would serve 4.
Yes the pepperoni is spicy and greasy, enjoyed every bite.

Couple of more thumbs up...
It's right down the street from my camp, and we've been going there on occasion for years.
The sandwiches & pizzas are good, but it can be a "tourist trap" during certain days/hours so plan your meal accordingly. My favorite thing on the menu? The ICE cold drafts on a hot summer's day! |

Pizza Barn
I've been there a few times. I can't say I ever had a bad meal but I would not rave about it either. Its pizza, no better or no worse than most pizza restaurants.
Its the best pizza around because there is nothing else around. It gets busy in the winter on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons because its on the way to North Conway for skiing on Friday and on the way home on Sunday from skiing. |

You stole my exact thoughts on the Pizza Barn. Their salads are great and enough for two. In the Winter this is one of the most stopped at places for Snowmobilers as Coridor 19 (The Rail Bed) runs right behind them. WINNOCTURN |
