What Route do you travel?
When traveling to the lake, what exit or route do you take to get here.
Second question is the yes or no portion only, would you make a trip or stop along the way to shop for recreation items, i.e. larger ticket items, outdoor recreation gear, etc. if within a 1/2hr to 45min of the lake. Thank you I realize I did not post Route 106, so if that is the route you take select the route 28 option as I cannot find a way to add the option to the poll. Many of us get off 93 in Concord at the Rt. 4/202/393 exit......Exit 15.....and take this over to Rt. 28.

From the Manchester area to Gilford, we take 93 North to 4/202 East to 106 North. We have tried all other routes and this one is the fastest for us except during the races at NHMS!!

exit 23 always going to Moultonborough - it may be a little longer than 28 or other backroads but the highway is less streeful to drive on.
We always just want to get there so even a grocery stop is rushed and avoided if we can. I doubt we'd ever stop to shop for any big ticket items on the way up. If I need anything like that I turn it into a separate outing with the kids. Good luck with your venture. I bet fireworks right off exit 23 would be a huge hit! |

Should I be checking Route 28?
Same as McDude:
Off 93 in Concord at the Route 4/202/393 ~ Exit 15, then over Route 28. Should I be checking Route 28? |

Just want to get there...
We rarely stop on the way in. If we do, it's just for milk or a paper. Like I said , we just want to get there.
Best wishes on your new venture. |

RG, I would say 28 is fine.
Well, as some know from my posts that I live on the western half of the state. My main focus was trying to gauge a potential location on the 93 corridor, so to be able to not only serve the needs of local residents but to also grab a fair market share of folks traveling to and from the lake. Exit 20 and 23 are within 45 min driving time of my location, so those were my quick choices, due to a lack of this service in these areas, while still being able to grab travelers to the north or coming south. I was trying not to leave anyone out with my first set of questions to prevent not getting an answer to the second. Thanks jmen |
