Smile Someone is having a good day

Caught this image on the Alton Bay Cam from Prudential. Looks like Dad and Son enjoying a quiet morning fishing.

Awesome. The way it should be...Kudos to dad! That would make a great fathers day card....If only they knew about it.

You can bet one thing, spending a morning fishing with Dad on the docks is worth far more than anything money can buy.

A container of worms = $4

A Spider Man Fishing Pole = $15

Seeing the look on your son's face when he catches that big sunfish = Priceless !

LOL! I'm sure the F&G will ensure they are not over the daily bag limit for sunfish too!

Default memories that will last 4 ever

As a divorced dad I can attest to the truth of this.
I started taking my 2 boys camping up in the White Mountains every chance I got.
Now I’m not talking the new age camping where you have to have all the conveniences of home. That’s just not camping.
I’m talking sleeping in a tent, cooking on an open fire, sometimes bringing our own water. We would hike Mt. Washington every labor day. We Mtn biked as many trails as we were allowed to throughout this state.
Too this day both boys still look back and talk about those trips we took, and how great the meal we cooked were.
I was labeled as the “fun parent” by them.

Now my oldest at 26 has started doing the same with his girlfriend. They camped at Zealand Falls campground this past Memorial Day weekend. They hiked Mt. Washington and caught many trout out of the river.

Smile Take a Kid Fishin'

Some of my favorite memories I have with my dad are from times we spent fishing. It was often while standing on a bridge or dock or even on a lake or river bank, but I still get that same "GOT ONE!!!" feeling when I get a fish on my hook. Good times!
