Donna, there are a half dozen companies that do a fair amount of work in Suissevale. I have noticed that the prices have gone up to 180-200/ season. You have to be careful to ask if there is a maximum. Some will start charging you per storm after 10 or 12, some do not.

I think you are going to give more info. Like where you live....
There are soooooooooooooooooooooo many plow guys around here. I think in Suissevale it something like $150 for ten storms....So much per storm after that.

Lot's to choose from.

Ask your neighbors who they use. Visit any of the convenience stores and ask. Go to any auto repair and ask.

Down at the Skandia mobile home park, across from the Meredith Cemetary, there's an old 8-hp red Toro sno-thrower for sale for $200 that didn't look too bad. Even has an electric start, although Toro's usually start right up with the hand pull. Go first class......go TORO!

FLA.. Your right. In my case I really can't plow my driveway. I have to use a snowblower. Its a Toro too. I do have an 8hp craftsman as well. Doesn't take me too long and I don't have those ugly dirty snowbanks hanging around in the spring.
I have an upper and a lower driveway. If I plow the upper it blocks the entrance to the lower. I like to park in the lower. Keeps my truck from getting hit by branches falling off the oaks in the upper driveway. the propane truck guy loves the snowblower path I make for him to the tanks too. Someday I will move to a warmer climate....

getting to be that time again....

Check Craigslist also, can find some real good deals . Check and make sure everything is working before you hand over cash for a used one. Good luck. BBRRR winter is coming.

It's he you?

In Suissevale you have one guy @ $150 for 10 storms, and a couple others @ $180 - $200 doesn't matter how many times they plow. Some plow right when it snows and others who plow before the weekend.

Get some references about how reliable the timing is for your plow guy if you're living there.

As with anything, cheapest isn;t always the best.

Evenin Folks,

I'm new to the forums, but not to the area!

Born and raised in Wolfeboro, now living in Moultonboro. My name is Rick D'Onofrio; lots of folks know me around these parts, and have plenty of references for my work.

Donna, if you need someone to plow for you this winter, give us a call. I do custom proposals based on what you need to keep your property safe and accessible thru out the winter season. No charge, no obligation to come out, and do an estimate for you.
