Well, it is 11:40 am, and the tempature on Weirs CAM display shows but 43 degrees. If it stays this cool, it could be a quite Columbus Day weekend on the big lake! Hope it warms up some for the weekend, or it could be rather chilly going across to the island to blow out the pipes before the freeze begins!

Gave a great weekend all!

and it's the first nice relatively cool day here in Central Florida. Now you guys will start closing your windows and we will start opening ours.
If anybody ventures to the Orlando area, let me know.....you can come out here and check out "The New Engalnd of the South". Lots of NH retiress in this area.

I saw the Mount Washington Observatory cam yesterday -- what a beautiful sight. I kept wishing I was there to see it all in person. You just don't see that kind of beauty in NYC.

A lot of warm days are on the way, just going to be spread out more, and the weather swings are in, and on the way! This is the start of a new season that gives our weather forecasters whom don't already have gray hairs, a few.
Such is life, in New Hampshire, and New England!

The cold snap should make for some great color -- I hope there will be a bunch of foliage pictures this year!

Heading to the lake this afternoon, we have not been there in 2 weeks. Looking forward to the colors!

I was up round the lake yesterday. The colors are not close to peak yet.

Mee's mother was going to come up this weekend for a foliage cruise but we didn't think the leaves have turned yet and suggested she wait. So next weekend they better be !

I'm hoping with all the rain this season and now cold nights, we may get some really good color this year.

I agree with RG as we were on the lake in the PM Friday and the color is just not there yet. Funny though it is pretty good in the Londonderry and Atkinson area.

We will check it out again on Monday, our 1st (wedding) anniverary.
