Killdeer and a Turkey Vulture
Both taken this morning along the shore of Opechee Bay in Laconia. I used my car as a blind to get close to both as they are skittish birds.
Both taken with Canon 7D and 400 f/5.6L Av Mode ISO 400 1/100 sec f/5.6 Av Mode ISO 400 1/60 sec f/5.6

Nice shots!
Weren't you shooting with a 40D before? Could be wrong, but if not, how does the 7D compare to the 40D in your opinion? Thanks, R2B |

My 40D was getting a bit long in the tooth and decided to replace it and keep it as a back-up and the 7D was the next logical and affordable (for me) step up.

I really need to go bird hunting with you! I love taking shots of birds but find it difficult. Your shots are amazing!
