I often enjoy eating meals based around salad as the main course.

I do not know what Sweet Tomatoes is, but The Corner House in Center Sandwich serves a salad which can be eaten as a meal and you can add chicken, lobster salad, etc.

Salad for dinner
Many of the restaurants in Wolfeboro offer a salad with some kind of topping, ie., chicken, beef, lobster, more than suitable for an entree in and of itself.
Also, unless they are terribly busy, you might be able to ask your server for a 'custom' salad to your specs. One hot evenings, many people prefer something like a salad rather than a heavy entree. You can always ask! Good luck. PS: A short, funny story. A friend and I used to eat at the Full Belli Deli in Wolfeboro when we were working in the area. We usually ended our meals with a 2 very large, mint chocolate chip brownies. We knicknamed these brownies "salad squares" and that way when we got home to our respective wives we could say with a very straight face, "I had a salad square for lunch." When my wife and I moved to Wolfeboro we went in there one day to get a sandwich and wouldn't you know it, the lady behind the counter asked if I wanted one of my usual salad squares. BUSTED!! |

The focus is salad, soup and pasta and desserts, all with a variety of choices. see ... http://www.souplantation.com/locatio...name=Clackamas (scroll down to menu for this, my local Sweet Tomatoes). About ten bucks for all you can eat. |

Salads
Check out the Lakeside Deli and Grille. We have several salads on the menu and run daily specials that include salads as the main course everyday.
