Went to Patrick's Monday night... Sat in the non-smoking raised section where you can look into the "other room". We were a little disappointed because you could smell the cigarette smoke, as bad as when the entire bar area was "smoking". I don't know if their "smoke eater" or exhaust was off or malfunctioning, but there was definitely a smoky atmosphere.

RG, if you haven't been to Meadowbrook for a dinner function like the theatre, it is really a good time. We didn't make it there at all last year, and unfortunately probably won't make it there this year, but we certainly had a good time, and the food was excellent.

Sorry Uppy, if you were in the bar area there had to be a malfunction with the air purification system, I just sent this thread to them, maybe we can have an explanation for it. If not, I will look into this matter myself and get back to you!

Patrick's added a large addition and also a new air purification system recently and here is the reply.

I figured something was up, 'cause we do eat there quite a bit, and hadn't had the problem since they put the addition on until the other night. Allan, his family, and staff run a first class restaurant, and glad they got the problem solved and fixed. Thanks TR4

Patrick's caters the dinner events at Meadowbrook. This is why I thought you must have visited Patrick's in the first place. They serve Awesome food, no matter where, or when.

All the while, there are so many people to thank out here!... And we all stand behind them!

It is a great pleasure for me to help out in any way that I can... " Keep in mind that I am no match for you!" Thank you RG

My thanks to everyone at www.winnipesaukee.com

I'm sorry to hear you are without work right now! I know lot's of folks in your line of work, so if I can be of help finding you some temporary or permanent employment, please, stop by and see me!

Also, I loved the "Jobsta" rolls. It took me until I read the whole message before I figured out it wasn't a typo, but rather a great example of your undying sense of humor! Thanks for the good chuckle!

Default Parrot Heads???

Thanks RIG for the post.

There is a Jimmy Buffett Tribute on March 26th. Hey...Cool!

So how's about getting together for a feeding frenzy at Meadowbrook!

Take off the Bean Boots and put on some topsiders in the middle of mud season! Man we'll need it!

Deb's Joy and I will be there with friends and we will be using our undeniable "License to Chill!"

Default Feeding Frenzy

Has anyone seen Feeding Frenzy before? Can't imagine anyone doing Buffett music would be bad. Thanks RG for the heads up. Since I can't get out to see Bubba on tour, it will be nice to see some surrogate Bubbas doing thier thing. Dust off the Phlock gear and off I go.

Went to a Buffet tribute night a couple of years ago at Meadowbrook, but don't remember who the band was...they were actually pretty good...so were the marguaritas...so was the food...that made me drink more of those really good marguaritas...that made the band sound so good...so we had a few more of those ramagiters...and crawled over for some more stuff from the snack table...and ordered another gammarooter...and the moosic was goody prett as I remember it...what I remember...did I mention the booze with the glasses with the salt that made you want to have more...I'd go again, if the judge would let me.

Default Yes I am a pirate!

Two years ago I remember (in a mild fog) that the band was "Fish out of Water". 'Supposed to be a backup for Jimmy. I remember that they were more FUN than good but the evening was great! Hope to see ya there!

Phins UP!

We have not yet made it to a Meadowbrook event, but it appears that will soon be changing!
They host more events than I realized too, the newest being a Miss Meadowbrook Pageant.
Looking forward to seeing who else will be appearing in concert there.
Misty, let us know how Feeding Frenzy was!
Upthesaukee, I do enjoy your sense of humor.

Thumbs up Congratulations Katie McClain!

Thanks for the update GWC. It is pretty impressive stuff for a 12-year-old young lady.
Too bad they didn’t include a photo, I think it would have added to the story.

Default Jimmy Buffett wannabees!

" Spent last Sat. night at Meadowbrook for the Jimmy Buffett "Feeding Frenzy". I was wrong. That is the name of the event, the band was "The Corolla Brothers". Awsome! Three 50 minute sets, non stop! Great old sounds of Jimmy for the first two and after 11pm they came out with rock and roll. 'Ended with "Purple Haze" and the "National Anthem" from Woodstock. Total guitar solo. Close your eyes and you would have thought that Hendrix was in the room. WoW!

Meadowbook has improved greatly in the past couple of years. The set up was good, if a bit crowded, and the meal was better than OK. There was a bit of a seating problem so if you attend a similar event ask to be seated with your friends. All in all a great night.

Sorry that I missed you parothead!
