Default snow depth

I hope to get back to the Northeast on Easter weekend and get up to the lake to see our house and get a lobster roll at pepper's. How deep is the snow

Default Snow on the roof

I keep an eye out on my neighbors places during the Winter. I remember how I used to worry about the dock, the roof, the trees,...etc. when I lived away from the Lake.

While the last snow was heavy, it didn't seem to stay on the roofs. I guess the high winds blew it off before it could mount. Any way the snow level on unheated roofs that I have seen is about 12 to 16 inches at the most. Most roofs have much less.

Typically I will shovel or rake them if needed but it has not been needed this year. The forcast is for warm temps. this week and maybe a bit of white stuff over the weekend. My gut feeling is that it is time to put the snow machines away and start getting the boats ready! Woo-Hoo!

Misty Blue.

Yay! I like the sound of getting boats ready. While eager to get back out on the lake again, there are still several annoying weeks of (technically spring but doesn't feel it) winter. So if we have to deal with a few more inches fine, I can live with that!

Default Peeps on patrol!

Phoenix, I have enlisted an army of Peeps who will begin generating smiles, thereby warming hearts, thus causing the snow to melt rapidly.

Should be no problem with the snow by the time you plan on visiting. Just in case, please try to bring along some of the Arizona heat - we'll use it to melt the ice!

Oh, and one more thing - you'll have to get the lobster roll on Friday or Saturday, because we'll be closed on Easter Sunday.

Travel safely. I'm looking forward to seeing you again.
