I figured with all this cold weather and snow if you can't beat them you might as well join them. With that said I attended an ice fishing class at the Laconia Community Center hosted by NH Fish & Game and I am ready to give it a shot. I have the manual auger, tips ups, safety gear etc... and am wondering where I should try and setup the holes this weekend on the Bay? Most convenient end is down by Big Island. Does anyone know of a spot and is willing to share where I should try and setup for a few hours? Forecast calls for very low temps so I am not sure how long I will last w/out any sort of shelter from the wind.
Thanks in advance! |

I would drill a hole directly over the fish, makes it easier to catch them.
