Thanks for sharing this video. I t brings back many memories of my youth. Our place in Green's Basin is situated on a peninsula. We did not have a road to get to our place until my late 20's. Therefore we had to travel by boat. It might as well have been an island. I have good memories, but it wasn't easy. We used a hand pump for water and gas lights for seeing at night. We did not even have lights upstairs where the bedrooms were. Oh and of course we had an outhouse of which i had the duty of cleaning out quite often. It was very peaceful, but I have to admit many things are much easier with modern conveniences. If there is a storm and I need to go out I just run to the car. It is nice to know though what island living is like.

Watched the DVR recorded show today, interesting segment. A nice range of situations. While the castle is very cool, the old guy with the rustic camp really enjoyed his slice of paradise as well.

Later in the broadcast was a nice segment on the MP. Near the end of that we were surprised to see a short segment of the Slickcraft pulling away from the Glendale docks.
