I have been trying to rent out a boat slip at Quayside without the usual success. In the past 5 years this slip has rented quickly. The price is the same as before but......no takers.
Are others having this problem? Thanks for any comments. |

Weather, weather, and weather. I bet as soon as this crud leaves us for a while you will see some interest. It has been raining for so long that it is hard to imagine what it will be like when we actually see sun and 70's -80's for a week straight. How and where are you advertising? Keep the faith...

gas prices + economy not bouncing back as quickly as expected= less boats on lake = less demand for slips.
Have others at quayside had trouble, or had to lower their rent? |

Thanks for the responses. Yes, there are other slips available at Quayside, pretty much in the same price range. Not sure if this is a problem at other marinas.
I think the weather is the biggest issue; I think I'll hold tight for now. Thanks again. |
