Blueberry Island f/k/a Minister’s Island
In the cabin on this island is a sign identifying William Haven as the owner in the 1890s and his descendants as the current owners, who allow the Appalachian Mountain Club to use it in conjunction with Three Mike Island. I presumed that Mr. Haven was a minister.
Yet on a tree to the left of the beach is an old wooden sign with very faded lettering that says “Wilmington Island “. Does anyone have any insight on this? Sent from my iPhone using Winnipesaukee Forum mobile app |
