Suggestions for electric trolling motor...

Stern mount on a 12'-14' aluminum row boat. What size and make do you folks suggest? Minn Kota? Motor Guide? And where in the Lakes Region can I buy one?

I bought a MK at Walmart for $99.

It pushes my 14’ aluminum around just fine but I use it for positioning as a supplement to my gas motor.

The shorter, 30” shaft works best on my transom.

The cables are adequate but extentions will allow you to put the heavy battery more forward in the boat.
