Abenaki Ski Area, Wolfeboro; opens Dec 26
As a big fan of rope tow ski lifts, was looking forward to hitting their excellent looking, $20-lift ticket, Abenaki rope tow lift ...... sometime, soon!
But will have to wait another year, or something, because this year Abenaki is open only to taxpayers from Wolfeboro, Tuftonboro, and Brookfield ..... and those who attend Gov Wentworth School District ...... according to www.wolfeboronh.us/abenaki-ski-area And, it has "one of the fastest rope tows on the east coast." With all the new snowfall, the Abenaki 30-km of cross country skiing should be totally super-duper so's I wonder if I am Covid closed out from their cross country skiing as well, which would not be using the rope tow? Looking at the Abenaki cross country ski trail map, it looks like the nearby Sewall Woods trails are maybe not Covid closed to outsiders because it is separate from Abenaki? ... www.wolfeboroxc.org/trail-map Abenaki and Sewall Woods are maybe two miles apart(?) and are connected by the Internet ..... no kidd'n! 2020 - Rules for Skiing: Wear a Mask or Go to Jail! ...... so, maybe is best to stay home and just keep roof-raking this huge snow before the rain comes?
