Need Propane Stove Repair

Tried Rowan, Energy Savers and even Abundant Life Farms in Chichester but no one will repair a product that is not theirs (Elgin fireplace stove)
Pilot works but not getting gas to the burners

Stove works like a charm

Our propane “woodstove” had that problem this past winter. Called Fire in Stone, whom we purchased it from (Regency Hampton model) and asked them about it and they wanted to be PAID IN ADVANCE for a service call a couple months out! BS!
We suspected that the thermocouple was bad so looking up on the internet we found a little trick to “rejuvenate” the thermocouple. A simple, light “sanding” of the tip of the unit with emery cloth did the trick! Stove lights up like a champ now! We also discovered that the it is very easy to take apart the front and remove the glass and screen to access the pilot and thermocouple. Just had to remove a couple of the “fake logs” that hide the unit.
Fire in Stone wanted $300 in advance for this…🤪 and of course, they wouldn’t tell you what to do to fix it yourself…

My experience with them was poor as well. They quoted us an absolutely ridiculous price on a fireplace repair and reface job, we got it done by a great masonry company faster and at less than half of their quote.

They will never see my business again and it’s too bad because they did a good job with the install…🤔
