Default NHEC Fiber- Breezeline lowered my rate- Meredith

I'm excited to see the NHEC fiber roll-out in Meredith. As you've probably seen, they offer 100 Mbps for $50; 1 Gig for $80 and 2 Gig for $100. At my cottage I can get by with 100 Mbps. I had been paying $68/mo from Breezeline. Before going through the installation with NHEC I noticed on the Breezeline site they offer 100 Mbps service at $45 (after an initial $20/mo for 2 years for new customers.) I called NHEC and requested my rate be lowered to the $45/mo and they did it. My initial support agent had to transfer me to another person who lowered my rate. So for now, I'll hold off on the NHEC fiber installation. You should not be paying Breezeline more than their published rates. I didn't even mention NHEC when talking with Breezeline.

I don 't think the size of the house has anything to do with speed. Rather the router should handle all the traffic and gadgets connected to the router. I've seen folks complain the service is poor at 500GB only yo find out the router can't handle the traffic. Upgrading the router made a tremendous difference!
