Father John's Pub
Does anyone remember Father John's Pub in Wolfeboro? I think I have the name correct. I believe it was open during the 1970s and early 1980s? The location was right near Wolfeboro Oil Company. Boy those were the days. I couldn't drink legally back then, but I have a lot of great memories of going in there for pizza on Saturdays with my dad.

Father Johns Pub
That was the name! Great pizza! Remember going there with my grandmother and it was the one time each summer that she would have a beer with her meal! Wild grandma!

Remember it well
It's one of those places that you wonder why they went out of business. Everyone I know used to enjoy going there. It had just the right mix of casual dining and atmosphere.
But then again, I was a young college student and I'm sure I wasn't leaving much money there at the time... |

Remember it? Heck, I still have a couple of the old FJP t-shirts! Spent many an evening soaking suds in that joint, and I still shake my head when driving down Lehner Street past the old building.

Father John's Pub - Beer Cans
They had the largest beer can selection I've ever seen hanging up on the walls. I wonder whatever happened to that collection.

THE best onion rings!
I'm thinking they closed sometime around 1986 or 1987. |

Hmmm
Funny, I remember going in there a few times, but can't recall leaving......
It was a great place, and I miss it. |

Great pizza, steamers and (of course) beer.
I also remember the place was wallpapered with betting slips. Where does on go these days in W'boro for the FJP experience? |
