Default Marinas with handicapped hoists?

Anyone know of any marinas on the lake that have a handicapped hoist for getting wheelchair-bound people on and off boats?

You might consider renting a pontoon boat and using a ramp from the dock

The Town of Meredith is working on this adaptive launch project ...... http://www.meredithnh.gov/293/Adapti...t-Leavitt-Park ... at the Meredith town beach. Leavitt Town Beach and Park is very close to the Meredith/Center Harbor town line off Route 25 and approximately a 3/4 mile paddle across Lake Winnipesaukee to the three Beaver Islands ..... http://www.facebook.com/p/Meredith-A...0086379807083/

The new dock and launch ramp will be located to the left of the roped-off swim area.

Installation of this ramp and dock is scheduled for next spring in 2026. It will be one of four such ramps in the State of New Hampshire including Rochester, New London and Concord ....... www.nehsa.org/who-we-are-adaptive-sports/ ...... and happy paddling!
.................

Looking for a boat ride that's larger than a kayak? For forty-seven dollars/passenger the MS Mount Washingtion, 230-feet long, will help you on and off their ship for a 2.5-hour narrated ride all around the big lake. Last year in 2024, the price was $48 but this year in 2025 the price is $47.

This Saturday night, TONIGHT, October 25 Halloween masquerade ball, 6-9pm dinner-dance is $73/party dinner guest and is the final voyage of 2025 ... www.winnipesaukee.com/index.php?pageid=Halloween ...... photos from 2005 .... that was 20-years ago, today! .............. hmmmmm .......... maybe it was 2006? ......... H-a-p-p-y .... H-a-l-l-o-w-e-e-n .... 2025!

Arrow Oct 17: adaptive kayak dock and ramp INSTALLED and USABLE-Leavitt Beach, Meredith

Oct 17, 2025

This new kayak/small canoe adaptive loading dock and ramp has been installed in its' permanent spot and looks to be functional, working, and usable.

It is about 25' x 40' size, made mostly with aluminum, some galvanized steel, is supported by flotation, and is anchored to shore with a 5-10 ton, 36"x36" x10' precast concrete block with a dock hinge engineered specifically to work with this dock system.

The three person sitting bench should become a welcome "home run" new place to sit, right on this dock. Is VERY comfortable!

A new bright blue and white 24" x 60" sign informs the public about this new adaptive kayak loading dock and ramp at the Leavitt Beach entry area.

This adaptive kayak dock and kayak slide is located to the left of the swim area.

This is like a HUGE NEW ADDITION to Leavitt Beach and Park in Meredith on Lake Winnipesaukee, close to Center Harbor.

All you adaptive paddlers out there ....... are you ready to hit the water or what ....... because this new adaptive dock is ready for you ..... like right now ..... and happy paddling!!!

Facebook link in above post has Sept 25 photos from Leavitt Beach, day of installation.

The very low water level right now is somewhat messing with the floating dock, but not too bad.
