Default Akwa Soleil

Can anyone give me a progress report on Akwa Soleil? Seems as though progress of this development is extremely slow.

All I can tell you is that over the Winter they put up a (for lack of a better word) glassed in Watch Tower - or oberservation (gazebo) Deck on what looks like the old water tower. Out in the boat for the first time last week-end we noticed it from FL#1. Haven't been up there, by car, since Columbus Day.

What a view that must be from the top of the water tower !!! Anyone know if it is accessible to the general public (if even only during construction)?? What a Photo Op -- great from where we took some in the Fall -- this would be downright AWESOME !!

Can't say much re: the view from the Observation Deck but even from the top of the hillside you can get a great view of most of the southeast lake. Others have posted some very nice pics from the same spot.
