Default Labor Day Weekend Fireworks

Does anyone know if there are fireworks scheduled this weekend at the Weirs? The www.weirsonline.com doesn't provide any information on fireworks held after mid-July.

I can't recall, and the poster with the schedule is at work, and I'm home. If I can figure out a way to post during the day tomorrow, I'll do so. Otherwise, by the time I get home they'll be all over and it'll be pointless to post.

I will say this - the contractor hired to do the fireworks this year is FABULOUS!!! We've enjoyed watching every show, and are absolutely thrilled with the quality of the shows this year!

Default firewoks&rain

What kind of mix do you get with both rain and fireworks? Or has the rain been canceled?

The rain has changed from a complete washout on Sunday to showers. Looks likes the hurricane is going to go through New York into Canada instead of up the coast.

Maybe someone should inform the Laconia Citizen?

Labor Day activities planned in region

LACONIA — For many, Labor Day is the official end of the summer season and many communities are having events to send summer off with a bang.

In Laconia, fireworks will light the sky over Weirs Beach for the last time this summer tonight at 10 p.m

Note:Look at the date of the article and infer what date and time "tonight at 10:00 p.m." equals.

That would explain all the boats that showed up last night. Hope they don't mind waiting a while.

They never did happen at the Weirs, just a few private shows. Maybe someone here knows if they are rescheduled for next weekend?
