	 | Lake Ice is fine

Hey Webbsatwinni, We thought we saw your snowmobile today. There's enough "snow tufts" so a machine can run from one to another for lubrication and the ice is firm after a number of very cold nights. The snow shower seems to be over for now. Flurries is a better description..... Thanks for noticing Snake Eyes! DBA

DBA, Wish I was there, I may try jumping from snow mound to puddle and back tomorrow. I would hate to waste the last weekend or two of ice while waiting to take the boat out. |

	 | Snow Dancing again

A couple of Babes did a snow dance yesterday and we may have been successful. We did a modified dance so that we would only get 5-6 inches and not 2 feet... We shall see the result later. In the meantime you can get to your place, though it is quite bumpy... and if you come after dark. Keep in mind there is a hole in the ice in the channel after the no wake sign... a bob house went through there a few days ago... it is still weak. (Minge Cove). Letting people know your travel plans is always a good safety idea. IG

IG, Thanks for the head up on the hole in the ice. We will have the kids in tow, so it will be daylight travel only. Last edited by Webbsatwinni; 03-14-2008 at 04:54 PM. Reason: typo |
