Can not log off
I am having the same problem as I believe it was RLW whom I have sent e-mail to regarding logging off. He and I are having the same problem where we cannot log off. It says cookies have been cleared and when I check there is not a cookie visible to me that's not saying there isn't one but as I key this in I'm still logged in. I really do not want to go and clear all the cookies as there are to many that I would have to go and log back into things. Is there anything that can be done without clearing them all????
Thanks |

In every case (so far) where I've seen this problem deleting the old cookie solved it. You can delete individual cookies but you have to make a few changes to your settings so you can see them.
Close your browser, open My Computer (Windows) and click Tools|Folder Options|View. Uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and check "Show hidden files & folders". That will allow the cookies to show. They are in C:\Documents & Settings\{your user}\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files. Find the cookie(s) with winnipesaukee.com in it and delete it (them). When you have deleted the cookie return the Folder Options back to their original settings. |

Usually so another member in the household can log in. Also if you are on a public computer, like at the library.
Not if you checked the "Remember Me" box when you log in. You'll stay logged in even if you turn your computer off and on. I use three different computers to access the Forum and I never log off any of them. |
