My parents will be joining us for a few days while we are on vacation at the Lake this summer. I have tried to provide them with some places I am familiar with in the area such as Meredith Inn and the Inn at Mills Falls. I was wondering if anyone has any good or bad experiences with Center Harbor Inn? I would also be interested in any other suggestions of places to stay for a night or two in the Moultonboro area.
Thanks for any assistance. |

There's not a great selection but some of the local places include Berry Pond Motel (formerly Rob Roys), Matterhorn, Lake Shore Motel, Red Hill Inn, and of course, Center Harbor Inn. All in Moultonboro or Center Harbor. (We stayed at Center Harbor Inn this past winter, nothing great for the price but sufficient for a place to sleep.) Check out the Lake Links under Lodgings for more ideas. Although its a bit farther, we had good luck with Bay Top Motel in Wiers (Laconia).

The Red Hill Inn was purchased by the New Hampshire Music Festival a couple of years ago and is no longer a B&B.

The Old Orchard Inn is a little off the beaten path in Moultonborough but it is a lovely B & B.
