Default diving board

I am looking for a diving board and base for my cottage on the island. I was thinking that a 6' one would suit us. Does anyone have one at their home and if so any suggestions would be great. If someone has a board and base in good condition, please let me know.

Question Diving Board

I do not have a diving board, but would love one. Is a permit needed to put one on a dock?

I don't think a permit is needed for one on your dock however it might make your homeowners policy go up a little. We'd love to put one on our raft.

My insurance agent told me that Travelers would drop me if I put a diving board on my pool....not sure if that might be different on a lake.

Make sure you can get coverage before

Default Good point ,,,, check with insurance.

A lot of companies will drop you (or jack up your premmiums!) if you place a diving board on a dock or float (property) or if you introduce one of those inflatible bouncing water trampolines to your waterfront. Even slides off a dock can create an increase in premium as well! Anything that "invites" a higher risk is trouble and expensive!

Yes. Most boards are located in Mass, which is to far to drive.
