I figured I would let the people of the Winnipesaukee forums know about my website. Seeing as how this audience likes the area and is computer savvy I thought it was fitting to mention it.
http://www.dailywolfeboro.com I take pictures, most week days, of things around the Wolfeboro / Lakes Region area and write a quick blurb. It started as something to make me take my camera out everyday. A lot of people have enjoyed going to the site. There is also a Facebook Fan Page. http://www.facebook.com/dailywolfeboro I hope you Winnipesaukee.com people like it too! |

Great site, some really awesome shots there.
What do you shoot with? I've been using a 5D since its introduction with the 24-105mm L as my go-to 90% of the time.

I have a Canon 40D and 5DmkII. I use my 5DmkII most of the time now. The image quality is incredible and the higher ISO settings are a lot better than the 40D. I mostly use the 40D for outdoor sports because it shoots 6.5 frames/sec. As far as lenses go, I use either my 85mm 1.8 or 50mm 1.8 as my "walk around" lens. I like having f/1.8 as an option. They are also really sharp and have great contrast. If I am going to look for animals or shooting sports, I use a 70-200 f/2.8 IS. I have a 17-40 f/4 that I use mostly for interior real estate shots, weddings, or the occasional wide angle nature shot. |
