Red face Here comes winter!

I just checked the water temperature charts and see that the temp is already starting to drop. Won't be long, now, before the 2004/2005 ICE AGE!!-- oh well, for you winter enthusiasts- I know that's good news. For me, down here in Florida, all I can do is cry a little and wish I was at the most beautiful lake in the country. God Bless all of you that still have time to savour this wonderful place and time of year!

Question Hi Gilly

I am here in Florida, too. About 30 miles NW of Orlando. No hurricane damage in my area, thank goodness.
I am traveling to the Lake this weekend, for 2 weeks in Meredith. I haven't been there for 3 years. Really looking forward to it. Anything special you want me to see for you while I'm there?

Smile Hi- Lady Di!

God Bless YOU!-- enjoy your trip to God's country. They sure have the weather, don't they!-- unlike the soup! down here. We're in Gainesville. Can't make it to the lake until October this year- everybody is daring me to " jump - in" I spent my boyhood and teenage years on Meredeth Bay (Steiner's Latch Key Lodge)-- (no longer there, they made it into condos). Enjoy your trip and say hi if you get to George's diner!

Yup, they should be ! I've decided that it's not my memory, but my calendar that's defective. The silly thing still says August !?! That's it, I gonna get a new one today. Do you think S.I. still has a 2004 one on sale ?

ps - sorry about that title. Even worse, now I'm doing this Blazing Saddles thing at work too.

...Soon to be at lake fulltime but poor, "Mac" ...

Unhappy Yes, some trees have changed

Just past the Laconia Industrial park is a grouping of trees with bright red and orange leaves. It's only a few trees but they're not green. This is just wrong.

Default Time to decorate the Ponderosa

It's because of Leap Year - that's it. The extra day has thrown off the whole balance (yah that's it). Colored trees in Laconia, I'm burning a fall candle in my office (oatmeal cookie - not something you BAKE in the summer). That's it, time for a trip to Moulton Farm for a dang pumpkin and some corn stalks.
Better get the candy ready for the Trick-or-Treaters folks - they're on their way.

Thumbs up Oh Goody Goody!!

Foliage!!! I hope that the weather while I am there is like the weather there today. Couldn't be anymore beautiful. 73* at 5 p.m. and clear and dry.
Right now it's thunderstorming here. But that's okay.....cause in 6 months.....well, you know..
I am coming up for the birth of a baby granddaughter. I am excited about that, for sure.
I will try to get to George's, but the whole schedule depends on the little bundle of joy.
My son promised me an "all you can eat" lobster dinner, I think he said Wednesday. But I don't remember where. I guess I will find out soon enough.
I wish I knew how to post pictures, but so far, I don't. Guess I should get with the program, eh?

Oh, my sister in W. Va sent me some gorgeous loon photos that were taken last weekend off some island in Winni, I think Sandy? Does that sound right? He had posted them on a Falcon website.
C-YA SOON
