No Dishes Weekend!!
Since this was the guy's weekend for fishing at camp, we decided it would be easier to go out and eat rather than have to do dishes and cleanup after every meal. Needless to say we were never disappointed at any of the places we stopped at for food.
Our first stop for breakfast by boat was the Olde Bay Diner in Alton Bay. Fantastic breakfast and wonderful service. A real small gem for breakfast people! The blueberry pancakes are simply the best!! Next stop was Elacoya Barn and Grill for dinner. We had pizza and calmari. Both were to die for! They really do have the best pizza around!! Next was Country Cookin at Lakeside for Sunday breakfast. This is a new place that opened at the old / newer Waldo Peppers on route 11 in Gilford. Great food and great service. This place really makes it nice to have a second option in the Gilford area when Kitchen Cravings is packed. I actually liked it better than Kitchen Cravings!! All in all, the weather wasn't great but the food was!! Dan |

Only Caught A Cold!!
Honestly, we did catch one nice bass in Alton Bay other than that not a thing. We still had fun though!!

Waldo's gone?
So, the new Waldo Peppers is already gone?
Really just too bad...when you stop to consider the history of that place in relation to this forum. Seems like it all came apart relatively quickly. |
