Compress
You need to compress the pictures, depending on your software you can edit the pictures by compressing them for web pages.

The "too large" refers to the digital size, not the visual size. A photo from my camera is ~1.5 MB, many programs (perhaps this site's too?) have limits of 100 kb or 200 or 300. There are various size reducing software programs, some free, some for money (and not surprizingly, some worst, and some better). Just use it to reduce your photo from 1.5Mb to 100kb, and it will post fine.

Under the field where you upload the image it says: "The maximum image file size is 1500kb and the maximum image dimensions are 800px high by 1024px wide".
You can easily get your image below those limits using one of the many free online services (resizepic.com and picresize.com are a few) or you can download many free programs to do this. If you use Windows you can download a free PowerToy that lets you right click on an image and resize it. Here's the download link for that. Good luck with your ads. |
