Thanks Dan, they are always great to get a look at.
A friend of ours is helping the NH F&G in a project to live trap, install radio collars and track bobcats. http://www.wildnh.com/Newsroom/News_...ts_123010.html So far he has live trapped four cats this winter. This photo is of a female bobcat that I encountered 5 years ago near our house. I was about 15 feet away when the photo was taken, a once in a lifetime viewing. She had been carrying a kit across the road and was hit and stunned by a car. I came across her on my morning walk laying on the side of the road. So I walked right up next to her to have a look and then she jumped up the bank and looked back. The kit did not survive. Alan Last edited by Slickcraft; 03-08-2011 at 10:22 AM. Reason: typo |

Here is one I took a few years ago of one just laying on my deck taking a rest. Didn;t jump up when it saw me. Just layed (Lied?) down there for about a half hour, got up and sauntered off....

Locals helping Fish & Game as it delves into growing bobcat numbers
Today's Citizen has a story about our friend Dan who is helping NH F&G live trap bobcats for attaching tracking collars. The photo below was originally sent to us by Dan and is the same shot that is in the Citizen.
